Since I have to wait for my parents to pick me up like always when I get off this late, I thought I should post on Reflections. Right now I’m feeling a bit sick too. I have strange feverish feelings going on in my head… I hope I’m not coming down to something. That would suck.
First of all, calculus class was weird today. It was one of those ‘wtf-darkoh’ (Darkoh is the last name of my prof) classes. We didn’t have time to do the quiz today since we went in circles on this one problem for one hour and 15 minutes. On one question. It made me laugh though, in the end, so whatever. XD;
It was hard to pay attention in my classes today. Without intention, I end up daydreaming about Kyouya and Tamaki. ~_~ Can you really blame me? XD; (Daydreaming about them together) … Poor Haruhi =( …My shounen-ai fangirl always takes over more. For Yuuka’s information, I also daydreamed about some TL stuff. That was intentional…since I was already daydreaming, might as well. Like Tamaki says, “no point crying over spilt milk”.
Okay, now that I finished all that school stuff, time to move onto the main point of this blog: Ouran Koukou Host Club episode eight. I have to admit, the anime version of this story is superb in many areas. It’s excellent in animation, flow, etc. Also, it is following the manga pretty well. However, if you compare it to the manga, it lacks a lot of humour. I guess you can’t fit everything in…but… It’s really murderous to cut out Nekozawa! He deserves air time! (Of all the things they changed/cut out so far…this is the most painful! Of course if they cut out any of the other scenes too it’d be very painful as well XD;…) I’m hoping they compensate in episode nine by including the missing humour of Nekozawa …but episode nine is about the Zuka chicks and I don’t know if they’ll bother putting Nekozawa back in or if they’re holding it off until episode 20 or something like that (where Nekozawa gets another chapter) before including any of “How Nekozawa Truly Looks”. Though the Zuka chapter isn’t that long…
Perhaps it was better to leave chapters eight and nine separate like they did in the manga…I’m not sure…since I don’t know how they manage with flow and everything like that. Well, I’m just greatly disappointed that Nekozawa and all that is Nekozawa of one of my favourite chapters was kicked out. I am glad that they kept my Tamaki, Kyouya and no Renge bits though. =) Another thing is Haruhi’s fear inconsistency… Well whatever, the show is still excellent. I’m still in awe with the graphics, etc.
Er…what I’m trying to get at is. Let’s not miss out on all that Host Club has to offer! Please check out the manga so you can see how it truly is suppose to be. Thanks to Donya for uploading these for everyone, you can see what we’re missing out on! She told me to pimp them out so I am XD;…It seems like Amber, Donya and I really like to do Host Club pimping… XD;
